What my first post should be about?  After giving this question a lot of thought (got a headache out of it) my brain clicked.  I was kind of irritated with myself for taking so long to figure out what to write about.  I concluded that my first post should be about my passion since I was like 8 or 9 years old…Making jewelry!  This blog is intended for reviews, so I’m going to be giving you my thoughts on beads from two websites.

The websites are Fusion Beads and Artbeads, these are online stores for jewelry making stuff.  They sell basically everything you would need for any kind of technique you use or want to get into.  As well as kits with beads, thread, and instructions so you can get the finished project done.  I tend to buy a lot of 11/0 seed beads because that’s basically all I use for my beading projects.

As you can see, I have some experience with their 11/0 seed beads.  I’ve been a customer of them for 2 or 3 years now and I don’t regret the investment in the beads.  Both sites have a great variety of colors, although Fusion Beads 11/0 seed beads are rounder than Artbeads.  I guess it all depends on the project, for charms or beaded loom bracelets I tend to use Artbeads, so the finished product has a squarer shape.  But for necklaces, earrings or other types of bracelets I can get away with using Fusion Beads.  Also, the colors don’t fade or transfer, so you don’t have to worry about having colorful marks on your skin or clothes and the jewelry would last looking as if it were new.

In conclusion, if you want great quality beads, amazing prices (products often go on sale! *wink wink*), reasonable shipping prices, and excellent customer service.  Fusion Beads and Artbeads have all those characteristics and a great variety in beads, findings, charms, etc.  So next time you need some materials, or you became interested in making jewelry, don’t doubt visiting the Fusion Beads or Artbeads website.
