Nuevos amores de Colourpop

¡Hola! Recientemente Colourpop desarrolló sombras para los ojos en una nueva fórmula llamada Jelly Much. Hay 8 colores y tienen un costo de $8 cada uno.

Su fórmula única a base de agua satura el pigmento para una aplicación de color intensa inmediata. De larga duración, no se arrugará, se desvanecerá ni se transferirá; se seca hasta un acabado en polvo sin residuos.

Solo compré un color cuando salieron a la venta porque simplemente quería probar la fórmula. No pensaba que me gustaría (siempre he preferido sombras en polvo) pero para mi sorpresa, me encanta esta fórmula. El color que tengo es Bungalow, es descrito en la página de Colourpop como el verde azulado del pavo real pero metálico y vibrante. La primera vez que lo utilicé mi hermana dijo que mi sombra se parecía a La Sirenita (LOL).

Para aplicar, primero utilicé mis dedos, pero cambié a una brocha para una aplicación más precisa (la página web indica que se use una brocha). La fórmula se siente rara al tacto, pero como dice Colourpop, tiene una pigmentación intensa y no desaparece ni se agrieta. Lo he tenido en mis párpados y en la línea inferior de las pestañas como un pop de color. Luego de aplicarlo, se queda en su sitio todo el día hasta que lo remuevo. No se transfiere de mis párpados al resto de mis ojos. *Importante recordar que se debe dejar la tapa plástica transparente y que se cierre bien para evitar que se seque.* Creo que no hay necesidad de decir que estaré comprando otros colores porque son hermosos y la fórmula es increíble.

Otro producto de Colourpop que he descubierto recientemente (y que me encanta) es el Lux Lipstick, específicamente de la colección Zodiaco de Kathleen Lights. Tienen un costo de $7 cada uno. Tengo ambos colores de la colección y debo decir que estoy impresionada con la fórmula. Es cremosa y tiene una gran pigmentación. El color What’s your sign? se desvanece de una manera bonita pero Scorpio Moon deja una línea en el borde exterior de mis labios. Otra cosa, si aplico Scorpio Moon y lo remuevo, deja mis labios manchados (debo confesar que me gusta cómo se ve de esa manera). En general, los colores son hermosos, la fórmula es increíble y NECESITO comprar más lápices labiales en esta fórmula.

Book Review: the woman in the window

Hello! Welcome to another talk about a book I finished reading. The book is title “the woman in the window”, wrote by A. J. Finn and was published on January 2018.

Anna Fox lives alone—a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her days drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times…and spying on her neighbors.

Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, a mother, their teenage son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn’t, her world begins to crumble—and its shocking secrets are laid bare.

What is real? What is imagined? Who is in danger? Who is in control? In this diabolically gripping thriller, no one-and nothing—is what is seems.

If you liked “Gone Girl” by Gillian Flynn or “The girl on the train” by Paula Hawkins, then this book is right up your alley. *If you haven’t read those books, you NEED to do it because they’re amazing*.

Obviously, I thought the story would be good, that’s why I bought the book in the first place. But I didn’t expect it to be this awesome. I felt so invested in the story and the characters that I had to force myself to stop reading and go to sleep (because it was 3am). That’s how intense this story was for me, I wanted to keep reading non-stop, but I didn’t want the story to end.

The storyline is well developed, the main characters are complex and wonderfully constructed. You have a woman named Anna Fox who drinks a lot and passes her days at her window watching the world around her go by. Then, new neighbors arrive (the Russells) and the story gets more interesting. Anna tells the reader everything she sees, with so many details that one start to feel that is all real. But then, things start to get more and more complicated, so I started to doubt from every character. And you don’t even know what is real anymore. The ending was so unexpected, because they had me believing one thing, then they change the story a bit so now I’m like “Yeah, that makes sense.” But as the story unraveled, I was like “Oh hell no, that’s awful!” and then “What in the hell is happening?” And after that the rollercoaster didn’t stop, it just started to go faster, and more things happened (again).

Overall, I loved this thriller because is full of suspense, a complicated storyline and characters (you won’t get lost, I promise). A must-read for anybody. It has suspense, drama, and action; it’s packed with emotion and there’s something happening on every page you read. So, if you haven’t read it, go get it now and thank me later.

Reseña de libro: una mujer en la ventana

¡Hola! Bienvenidos a otra plática sobre el libro que terminé de leer recientemente. El título del libro es “la mujer en la ventana”, escrito por A. J. Finn y fue publicado en enero 2018.

Anna Fox vive sola—una confinada en su casa en New York City, incapaz de aventurarse afuera. Pasa sus días bebiendo vino (tal vez demasiado), viendo películas viejas, recordando tiempos felices…y espiando a sus vecinos.

Entonces, los Russell se mudan en la casa del frente: un padre, una madre, su hijo adolescente. La familia perfecta. Pero cuando Anna, mirando por su ventana una noche, ve algo que no debía, su mundo comienza a derrumbarse—y sus impactantes secretos se ponen al descubierto.

¿Qué es real? ¿Qué es imaginario? ¿Quién está en peligro? ¿Quién está en control? En este thriller diabólicamente apasionante, nada ni nadie—es lo que parece.

Si les gustó “Gone Girl” de Gillian Flynn o “La mujer en el tren” de Paula Hawkins, este libro es perfecto para ustedes. *Si no han leído estos libros, NECESITAN leerlos porque son increíbles.”

Obviamente, pensaba que esta historia sería buena, por eso fue que lo compré. Pero no esperaba que fuera así de increíble. Me sentí tan involucrada con la historia y los personajes que tenía que obligarme a dejar de leer e irme a dormir (porque eran las 3am). Así de intensa fue la historia para mí, quería continuar leyendo, pero no quería que la historia terminara.

La historia está bien desarrollada, los personajes principales son complejos y grandiosamente construidos. Tenemos una mujer llamada Anna Fox que bebe demasiado y pasa sus días en su ventana mirando el mundo a su alrededor pasar. Entonces, llegan vecinos nuevos (los Russell) y la historia se pone más interesante. Anna les cuenta a los lectores todo lo que ve con tantos detalles que uno comienza a sentir que todo es real. Pero entonces, las cosas comienzan a ponerse más y más complicadas, por lo que comencé a dudar de cada personaje. Uno ya no sabe qué es real. El final fue inesperado porque me tenían creyendo una cosa y luego la historia cambió un poco por lo que estaba como “Oh claro, eso tiene sentido”. Pero a medida que la historia se desarrollaba, mi impresión era “¡No puede ser, eso es terrible!” y luego “¿Qué demonios está pasando?”. La montaña rusa de sucesos no se detuvo, sino que comenzó a ir más rápido, y otras cosas pasaron (de nuevo).

En general, me encantó este thriller porque está lleno de suspenso, personajes y una historia complicada (no se perderán, lo prometo). Una lectura necesaria para cualquiera. Tiene suspenso, drama, y acción; está llena de emoción y algo sucede en cada página. Así que, si no lo han leído aún vayan a comprarlo ahora y agradézcanme luego.

Current Favorites

Hello there and welcome back! Today’s post is going to be about my favorites. For some of these products, there might already be a post about it with more details, so I’ll make sure to link them. As well as linking the products. Let’s begin!

Can you guess what is my first favorite? If you said L’oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation, you’re right! This is my go-to foundation because it keeps me matte, has great coverage and looks great on the skin (details/wear-test here). Next products are from Colourpop, they are the primer and setting spray from the All Star collection (review here). The combined use of these two products help my makeup stay in place looking good for more time. Also, Colourpop’s No filter concealer is AMAZING! Is the only concealer I’ve been using for months now (review here).

Now let’s talk about eyeshadow palettes because if I have makeup on I NEED eyeshadow. For this topic, I only have two participants, the Dream St. palette from Kathleen Lights (Youtube channel here) collaboration with Colourpop and the Persona Identity palette. Whether I use them alone or in conjunction, these palettes have great pigmentation and are easy to use for me (who sucks at making cohesive makeup looks). Oh well, these are (basically) my life-savers when I don’t know what to do with my makeup.

Okay, those are my all-time favorite makeup products but there’s more. Now I want to tell you about more recent discoveries that have turn into favorites. The first is a combination of two mascaras that make my eyelashes look really good. These are the Covergirl Peacock Flare mascara and the Maybelline Lash Sensational Curvitude. Both in the waterproof formula, as I can’t do non-waterproof formula because Puerto Rico’s weather (sigh). One coat of each and my sad little lashes stop looking sad & little. As these combined lengthen, give volume and separate my lashes (not making them look all clumpy).

The next product is a bronzer, fact: I’ve never liked using bronzer (shocking, I know). But is just I didn’t get why use bronzer to give color to the face when you have blush. Anyway, I’ve recently discovered this Bettina Sun Splash Bronzing Powder in Light to Medium and my thoughts on the usage of bronzer have changed. I mean, it still isn’t a necessity in my makeup world, but I guess it helps things to look better. Although, I still think that if you’re a beginner in makeup, just start slow either with blush or bronzer because is easier and simple.

Lastly in the makeup category is a Smashbox Liquid Lipstick, thanks to Ipsy. In my July’s Ipsy bag (review here), I got a liquid lipstick in the shade Stepping Out. You should know that I’m up for that matte look, but I have never tried this formula before. The ones I’ve used, and love are Wet ‘n Wild Catsuits and the L’oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Lipstick. That’s another story (LOL), back to Smashbox. Since getting the liquid lipstick last month I’ve been using it nonstop, it has quickly become one of my favorite lip products. Not only because of the shade, but the formula feels good on the lips, not drying and lasts for a long time. Although I love it I consider that paying twenty-something dollars for a lip product is not a good price for me, is expensive. I just can’t justify it and for the time being I’ll stay with more affordable options.

Now that we’re done with the makeup (that was almost a full-face, LOL). I want to talk about my absolute favorite nail polish shades from KL polish. This actually is my favorite brand for nail polish and is the only one I’ve been using since it launched. KL polish is a cruelty-free, 12-free of toxic ingredients and has a creamy, long-wearing formula with amazing shades. The ones I love are Charmed, Mozart, Chloe, and That’s What She Said.

I’ve been obsessed with making beaded earrings and doing Sudoku (who else likes Sudoku?). Making beaded jewelry has always been a hobby but for the last few years I’ve been trying to create a business out of it. I’ll add a photo of my newest creations and link my Instagram, in case you want to check them out. As for doing Sudoku, I got into it like four years ago when I downloaded an app on my phone to stay entertained when waiting for my next class. Now I have the app and two books with 100 pages of Sudoku games with four difficulty levels (easy, medium, hard, and very hard).

Favoritos Actuales

Saludos y bienvenidos. Hoy les estaré contando sobre mis productos de belleza favoritos y otras cositas. Para algunos de estos productos puede que haya una entrada en este blog con más detalles, por lo que me aseguraré de dejarles el enlace para que puedan encontrarlo fácilmente. También les dejaré un enlace de los productos (que pueda encontrar en línea) para que los compren si desean probarlos. Bueno, ¡Comencemos!

¿Pueden adivinar cuál es el primer producto? Si pensaron en la base Infallible Pro-Matte de L’oreal, están en lo correcto. Esta es la base que prefiero utilizar todo el tiempo porque me mantiene matificada, tiene gran cobertura y luce genial en la piel (detalles/prueba de duración aquí). Los siguientes productos son el primer y setting spray de la colección All Star de Colourpop (reseña aquí). El uso de ambos productos ayuda que mi maquillaje no se mueva y luzca bien por más tiempo. También me encanta el corrector No filter de Colourpop. Es el único corrector que he estado utilizado desde hace meses (reseña aquí).

Ahora hablemos sobre paletas de sombra para ojos porque cuando utilizo maquillaje NECESITO tener sombra. En este caso tengo dos paletas que son mis preferidas para el día a día. Dream St. de la colaboración de Kathleen Lights (canal de Youtube aquí) con Colourpop, y la paleta Identity de la marca Pérsona. Las utilizo ya sea solas o juntas, tienen una pigmentación excelente y son fáciles de utilizar (ya que mis habilidades de crear un maquillaje cohesivo son escasas). Bueno, básicamente estas son mi salvavidas cuando no sé qué hacer con mi maquillaje.

De acuerdo, esos son los productos de belleza que han sido mis favoritos por un largo tiempo, pero aún hay más. Ahora les hablaré sobre unos descubrimientos recientes que se han convertido en favoritos. Lo primero es la combinación de dos rímeles que hacen que mis pestañas luzcan fabulosas. El rímel Peacock Flare de Covergirl y Lash Sensational Curvitude de Maybelline. Ambos en la fórmula a prueba de agua, porque no puedo utilizar la fórmula regular debido al hermoso clima de Puerto Rico (*suspiro*). Una capa de cada uno de estos rímeles hace que mis tristes y pequeñas pestañas dejen de lucir tristes y pequeñas. Ya que alargan, dan volumen y separan mis pestañas (sin hacerlas lucir grumosas).

El siguiente producto es un bronceador, de hecho nunca me ha gustado este tipo de producto hasta ahora (increíble, ya sé). Pero es que nunca entendía porqué utilizar un bronceador para “darle color” a la cara si existe el rubor. De todas formas, recientemente he descubierto el bronceador en polvo Sun Splash de Bettina en el tono Light to Medium y mi opinión sobre su uso han cambiado. O sea, aún no es una necesidad en mi mundo de maquillaje pero supongo que ayuda a lucir mejor. Aunque creo que si eres alguien que está comenzando a adentrarse en el mundo del maquillaje, deberías ir lento con uno de los dos (rubor o bronceador) porque es más simple y fácil de esta manera.

Por último en la categoría de maquillaje se encuentra un labial líquido de Smashboxk, gracias a Ipsy. En la carterita de Ipsy para el mes de julio (reseña aquí), se encontraba el labial en el tono Stepping Out (no pude encontrar enlace en el web de Smashbox). Deben saber que me encanta ese look mate pero nunca había probado esta fórmula. Los que he utilizado y me encantan son los labiales líquidos Catsuits de Wet ‘n Wild y la línea Infallible Pro-Matte de L’oreal. Desde que me llegó ese labial en julio, lo he estado utilizando todo el tiempo y se ha convertido rápidamente en uno de mis preferidos. No solo por el tono, pero la fórmula se siente increíble en los labios ya que no lucen deshidratados y duran un largo tiempo. Aunque me encanta este producto de Smashbox, considero que para veinte-tantos dólares por un producto para los labios no es un buen precio para mí, lo encuentro caro. Simplemente no puedo justificarlo y por ahora me quedaré con mis opciones más económicas.

Ahora que terminamos con el maquillaje, quiero decirles cuáles son los colores preferidos de esmaltes de la marca KL polish. De hecho, esta marca es la única que utilizo desde que se lanzó. Los esmaltes de KL polish son libres de crueldad contra animales, veganos, están libres de 12 ingredientes tóxicos (que otras marcas tienen) y su cremosa fórmula es de larga duración con colores increíbles. Los colores que adoro son Charmed, Mozart, Chloe, and That’s What She Said.

En los últimos meses que estado obsesionada con crear pantallas y hacer Sudoku (¿A quién más le gustan los Sudokus?). Crear joyería con cuentas siempre ha sido un pasatiempo para mí pero en los últimos años he tratado de convertirlo en un negocio. Agregaré una foto de mis creaciones más recientes y un enlace para mi cuenta de Instagram, en caso de que quieran ver más. En cuanto al Sudoku, comencé hace unos cuatro años cuando descargué una aplicación en mi teléfono para entretenerme mientras esperaba para mi próxima clase. Ahora tengo la aplicación y dos libros con 100 páginas que tienen cuatro niveles de dificultad (fácil, medio, difícil, muy difícil).

Ipsy Glam Bag Review-August 2018

Hey there! Welcome back to yet another Ipsy Glam Bag post. For those of you that don’t know what’s Ipsy, it is a monthly $10 subscription of 5 samples (makeup, skin care, hair care). The samples come inside a beautiful makeup bag that varies in style and color according to the theme of the month. The samples are chosen to cater your preferences as stated in a quiz taken when you subscribe. Want to know what I got? Well, keep reading then.

The first thing was the Cryo Activating Hydra Gel from 111SKIN. This moisturizer says to protect your skin, plump it up and look “lit-from-within”. Its gel formula is quickly absorbed by the skin and left my face feeling somewhat tacky. Have used it a few times and this moisturizer didn’t impressed me. I mean, it felt good on my skin, but it wasn’t out of this world.

Next, I got a Mineral Face SPF 30 Rosilliance BB+ Cream from COOLA in the shade Golden. This product is supposed to even out the skin tone and “brighten up dark spots”. Its formula is so sheer that it didn’t cover or even out anything. Also, left my skin feeling extra sticky and looking like an oil mess at the end of the day. As for helping with dark spots, I can’t really say if it does because I haven’t noticed anything.

Another makeup product was the Glow-To Highlighter from Ciaté London in Moondust. In the pan looks pinker than in the face (looks more silvery-white). It’s blendable and very shimmery. But has a lot of fallout (it’s powdery), it always leaves shimmery particles all over my face.

The last makeup product included in this bag is a Lipgasm Lipgloss from Trust Fund Beauty in the shade Text Me. It’s a peachy shade that look really shimmery, but it doesn’t have a sticky formula. I don’t use it much because of the glitter. Also, the smell and taste aren’t great.

Finally, we have the Instant Health Hair Treatment from the brand 12 Benefits. Is a cream-like product that has a great scent. This product basically says is going to leave your hair looking A-MA-ZING. Sadly, I didn’t feel it did that for me, it was fine but nothing miraculous. The product never made it through the sprayer, I had to unscrew the cap to get it out. That could be because it is a cream product, or the packaging was defective.

Overall, this month’s bag wasn’t my favorite. Most products didn’t work for me or they weren’t impressing enough. Let’s hope September’s bag makes up for it.

Reseña Ipsy Glam Bag-Agosto 2018

¡Hola! Bienvenidos a otra entrada sobre Ipsy. Para los que no conocen sobre Ipsy, es una suscripción mensual de $10 que trae 5 muestras de productos de maquillaje, cuidado para la piel o cabello. Estas muestras vienen en una hermosa bolsa para maquillaje que varía en color y estilo de acuerdo con el tema del mes. Quieren saber qué obtuve este mes? Sigan leyendo entonces.

El primer producto fue el gel hidratante Cryo Activating Hydra Gel de la marca 111SKIN. Este gel hidratante dice proteger la piel, rellenarla y hacer que luzca iluminada desde el interior. Esta fórmula en gel fue absorbida rápidamente por la piel y la dejó algo pegajosa. Lo he utilizado varias veces y no me ha impresionado. O sea, se sintió bien en la piel, pero no fue nada fuera de este mundo.

Luego, lacrema BB Mineral Face Rosilliance con SPF 30 de la marca COOLA en el color Golden. Este producto se supone que empareje el tono de la piel y “aclare manchas oscuras”. Su fórmula es tan clara (transparente) que no cubrió ni emparejó nada en mi piel. Además, dejó mi piel extra pegajosa y luciendo demasiado brillosa al final del día. No puedo decir si aclara manchas oscuras porque no he notado nada.

Otro producto de maquillaje fue el Glow-To Highlighter de Ciaté London en el color Moondust. Se ve más rosado en el empaque que en la piel (se ve más blanco-plateado). Es fácil de difuminar y es brilloso, pero siempre deja mi cara con partículas de brillo.

Recibí el Lipgasm Lipgloss de la marca Trust Fund Beauty en el color Text Me. Es un color amelocotonado que luce brilloso pero su fórmula no es pegajosa. No lo utilizo mucho debido a la micro-escarcha. Además, que el sabor y olor que tiene no es agradable.

Por último, tengo el Instant Health Hair Treatment de la marca 12 Benefits. Es un producto tipo crema que tiene un gran aroma. Básicamente dice que dejará el cabello luciendo increíble. Lamentablemente, no sentí que hiciera eso por mí, no es un mal producto, pero no es milagroso. Para utilizarlo tuve que desenroscar la tapa porque el producto nunca salió por el rociador. Esto se puede deber a que es una crema o que el empaque estaba defectuoso.

En general, la bolsa de agosto no fue mi favorita. La mayoría de los productos no fueron impresionantes o no funcionaron para mí. Espero que la bolsa del mes de septiembre sea mejor.

Book Review-The Pretender by James Patterson

Hi there! Do any of you like to read? Because I’ve always been fascinated with books and I absolutely LOVE reading and that’s why I’m writing this post. Also, I’ve been trying to figure out other topics/stuff I can write about and I got the idea of writing one or two book reviews per month. Let me know if you like this idea, if not then tell me what you would like to see.

Now let’s get to the review! The book I’m going to talk to you about today is in that thriller/suspense genre that I love. It’s titled The Pretender, is written by James Patterson and Andrew Bourelle. It was published on August 2016. Here’s the book’s synopsis:

Logan Bishop is a handsome thief living off a stash of stolen diamonds. But when his murderous ex-partner tracks him down, Logan must find a way to turn the tables—or lose the only woman who can handle the truth.

I won’t give any spoilers, but I will say that this book is good. The story is interesting, and it was well developed. The way the story makes you think one thing but then it makes you doubt yourself but then at the end you were right all along. Although, there were quite predictable things (at least for me). The ending was meh for me, like the story ended but it felt like there should be more after.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this shorter story as I’ve enjoyed reading other Bookshot Thrillers from James Patterson.

Ipsy Glam Bag-July

Hi guys! I know I’m super late with this post (I’m pissed at myself about it) but I think is better to be late than to never arrive (even though I hate being late). So, before my August bag arrives, I wanted to get this up and kind of compare it with the June bag.

Let’s start! So Ipsy is a monthly subscription where you get 5 samples based on a profile (quiz) you fill out stating your skin & eye color, what you like (lots of makeup, lots of skincare, colors you prefer, etc.) I’ve been trying out what came in my bag for quite some time now and I’m going to let you know what worked and what didn’t.

In June’s bag I got 2 sheet masks, guess what?! I got 2 sheet masks in the July bag too! They’re from the brand Frecipe (different from last month). One is a Pomegranate firming mask and the other is an Acai Berry calming mask. Retails for $18 (Ipsy’s website) but it comes with 10 sheet masks. I’ve only used the Acai Berry sheet mask and I don’t know if I liked it. When I first took it out of the package, the sheet mask felt slimy and was soaked with product. It has a scent (can’t pinpoint what exactly) that isn’t overpowering but could still smell it through the 20 minutes. It has a cooling feel on the face. When I took it off it left my face soaking wet and my face felt extremely sticky once it absorbed everything.

When I opened the actual bag, loved the color this month, I saw the brow pencil Peak Performance from POP and it retails for $8. Mine is in the shade Natural Brunette which I think is my perfect shade. It has a waxy feeling that makes it somehow difficult to apply (in my case of almost non-existent eyebrows). Also, it plucks one or two hairs during application.

The next item in my bag was a Banana Setting Powder from Bellápierre Cosmetics in Medium. It retails for $35 and it was a little dark for me, every time I applied it my undereye ended up looking too yellow.

Then I saw the eyeshadow from Ittsé Cosmetics in the shade Changing to Flats which retails for $7.20. love the color, is matte and longwearing but the application is hit or miss. Sometimes it covers perfectly, other times it doesn’t apply well in the crease area. It could be because of how I’m priming/setting the lid.

Last but not least, it’s the Smashbox Always On Liquid Lipstick in the shade Stepping Out. This shade is perfect for me because is basically my go-to everyday color. It dries down matter, is not hydrating but doesn’t feel uncomfortable and is longwearing (not difficult to take off).

Overall, I like almost everything in July’s bag except for the sheet mask and the banana setting powder. The rest of the products were really nice but the only one I would probably use every day would be the liquid lipstick.

Ipsy Glam Bag-Julio

¡Hola! Ya sé que estoy extremadamente tarde con esta entrada (estoy molesta conmigo misma por eso) pero creo que es mejor llegar tarde que nunca llegar (aunque detesto llegar tarde). Por tanto, antes de que llegue mi paquete del mes de agosto, quiero publicar esta entrada y compararla un poco con el paquete del mes de junio.

¡Comencemos! Ipsy es una suscripción mensual donde te envían 5 muestras basadas en un perfil (quiz) que llenas indicando tu color de piel y ojos, qué te gusta (mucho maquillaje, mucho cuidado de piel, los colores que prefieres, etc.). He estado probando los productos que llegaron en mi paquete por algún tiempo y les dejaré saber lo que funcionó y lo que no.

En la bolsa de junio me enviaron 2 mascarillas de papel y ¡¿Adivinen qué?! ¡En la bolsa de julio también me enviaron 2 mascarillas de papel! Son de la marca Frecipe (no es la misma del mes pasado). Una de las mascarillas es de granada para reafirmar la piel y la otra es de baya de acai para calmar la piel. Tiene un precio de $18 (en la página de Ipsy) pero trae 10 mascarillas. Solamente he utilizado la mascarilla de baya de acai y no sé si me gustó. Cuando la saqué del empaque, la mascarilla de papel se sentía babosa y esta empapada con el producto. Tiene un aroma (no sé exactamente a qué) que no es demasiado fuerte, pero podía olerlo durante los 20 minutos que la tuve puesta. Cuando me la quité mi cara estaba empapada completamente y al secarse por completo se sentía extremadamente pegajosa.

Cuando abrí la bolsa como tal, cuyo color me encanta, vi un lápiz para cejas Peak Performance de la marca POP y cuesta $8. La mía es en el tono Natural Brunette, el cual creo es el tono perfecto para mí. Se siente con un poco de cera lo que hace que la aplicación sea un poco difícil (en el caso de mis cejas casi inexistentes). Otra cosa es que me arranca uno o dos pelos durante la aplicación.

El próximo producto en la bolsa es el “Banana Setting Powder” de Bellápierre Cosmetics en el tono medio (Medium). Tiene un costo de $35 y es algo oscuro para mi, cada vez que lo aplico termino luciendo demasiado amarilla.

Entonces vi una sombra de Ittsé Cosmetics en el color Changing to Flats que tiene un costo de 7 dólares. Me encanta el color, es mate y tiene una larga duración, pero la aplicación es regular. Hay veces que aplica perfectamente, pero otras veces la aplicación en el pliegue (crease) del ojo. Esto se puede deber a los productos que utilizo y su aplicación antes de la sombra.

Por último, si bien no menos importante está el lápiz labial líquido Always In de Smashbox en el color Stepping Out. Este es el color perfecto para mí porque es básicamente el tipo de tono que utilizo en el día a día. Cuando seca es mate, no es hidratante pero no se siente incómodo y es de larga duración (no es difícil de remover).

En general, me gustó casi todo de la bolsa de julio excepto por la mascarilla y el polvo banana. El resto de los productos fueron buenos pero lo único que probablemente utilizaré todos los días sería el lápiz labial líquido.
