According to Maybelline’s website, this product is a “water-based gel cream infused with colorful pigments that create a buildable, natural looking blush”. // Según la página web de Maybelline, este producto es una “crema de gel a base de agua infundida con pigmentos coloridos que crean un rubor de aspecto natural edificable”.
I like this product because is an easy to blend formula with sheer but buildable coverage (as it claims). I think is perfect for beginners just for that reason. Best application method is with the fingers. If I want a bit more color, I just apply some powder blush on top. // Me gusta este producto porque es una fórmula fácil de difuminar con una cobertura clara pero edificable. These limited edition eyeshadow palettes retail for $15, they include 9 shades and a mirror. Elsa’s palette is cool-toned while Anna’s palette warm-toned. As every Colourpop eyeshadow palette I’ve tried, these have amazing pigmentation and blend really well. // Estas paletas de sombras de edición limitada cuestan $15, incluyen 9 tonos y un espejo. La paleta de Elsa es de tonos fríos mientras que la paleta de Anna es de tonos cálidos. Now, the No7 mascara impressed me. I’ve seen the retail price fluctuate from $8.99 to $14.99. One coat gives length, volume and pigment to my lashes. When I added the second coat, it looked really good. A third coat clumped my lashes a bit, but I’m not mad at it. It stayed all day and was easy to remove. // Ahora, el rímel de No7 me impresionó. Both primers are from Covergirl, TruBlend Base Business Skin Primer in Mattifying and the Lid Lock Up Eyeshadow Primer. The skin primer has a lightweight, non-greasy formula. But I didn’t noticed a difference in the longevity of my foundation or in my skin’s oiliness. As for the eyeshadow primer, it helps my eyeshadow to stay in place and blend better. Also has little coverage. // Ambos “primers” son de Covergirl, para la piel TruBlend Base Business en Matificante y para los ojos el Lid Lock Up. El “primer” para la piel tiene una fórmula ligera y no grasosa. Pero no noté diferencia alguna en el control de mi piel grasa y la longevidad de mi base. En cuanto el “primer” para ojos, ayudó a que mis sombras permanecieran en su lugar y se difuminaran mejor. También tiene un poco de cobertura.
Now, the L’oreal Micro Ink Pen by Brow Stylist has surprised me. It’s available in five shades. The first time I used it, was a bad day for my brows. This product’s pigmentation depends on the pressure applied while using it. For a seamless blend, you have to work in sections and blend as you go. It stays on all day long. // Ahora, el Micro Ink Pen por Brow Stylist de L’oreal me sorprendió. Está disponible en cinco tonos. La primera vez que lo utilicé, fue un mal día para mis cejas. La pigmentación de este producto depende de la presión que se le aplique al utilizarlo. Para que se difumine perfectamente, hay que trabajar en secciones y difuminar constantemente. Lastly, the Wonder’full 24HR Brow Mascara by Rimmel is available on three shades. It has a lightweight formula that stays on but the pigmentation isn’t enough to wear it alone. At least for me with my sparse brows. // Por último, el Wonder’full 24HR Brow Mascara por Rimmel está disponible en tres tonos. Today I’m going to share with you a list of the makeup products that I will eventually buy. These products are ones that I really, really want. Most of them are drugstore priced. // Hoy voy a compartir con ustedes la lista de los productos que compraré eventualmente. Estos son productos que realmente quiero. First brand on my list is Colourpop. I love all products eye and lip related. Which means I want mostly eyeshadow palettes and one lip product. The palettes are: Going Coconuts, Blowin’ Smoke, She’s My Solstice (Ulta exclusive), Mulan, and Making Mauves. As for the lip product, I want to try the Just A Tint formula in the Coconuts About You kit. Also, an eyeshadow palette from Flower Beauty called Jungle Lights (I’ve seen good reviews about it). // La primera marca en mi lista es Colourpop. Me encantan todos los productos para ojos y labios. Lo que significa que la mayoría se compone de paletas de sombras y un producto para los ojos. Next, there are some new Bite Size Eyeshadow Palettes from e.l.f. Cosmetics that look beautiful. I’ve seen a few reviews that talk wonders about them. Basically, I want them all, there are eight palettes with four colors each, for only $3 each. // Lo próximo son las nuevas paletas de sombras Bite Size de e.l.f. Cosmetics. He visto varias reseñas donde hablan maravillas sobre estas paletas. Básicamente las quiero todas, son ocho paletas con cuatro colores cada una, por tan solo $3 cada una.

Hoy hablaremos sobre dos rímel que he estado usando durante varios meses. Ambos dicen dar volumen y alargar las pestañas.
El rímel Bambi Eye de L’oreal cuesta $10.99 y tiene “fórmula lavable aterciopelada que se desliza suavemente para levantar pestañas alargadas y sin grumos”.El rímel de Maybelline the Falsies Lash Lift cuesta 10.99 y “ofrece un volumen dramático y pestañas largas y elevadas”.
En mi experiencia, ambos rímel alargan y dan volumen a las pestañas. Encuentro que con Bambi Eye de L’oreal se forman grumos más rápido, si se aplican demasiadas capas. The Falsies Lash Lift de Maybelline tiene una fórmula fina/húmeda que ayuda a no tener grumos. Pero si la dejas secar entre capas, se formarán grupos y la aplicación será difícil.

Como pueden ver en la foto arriba, el lado izquierdo luce más pigmentado y las pestañas se ven juntas. Pero en el lado derecho, el rímel de Maybelline separó mis pestañas más. El largo y volumen parecen ser iguales.
Me gustan ambos rímel, son buenos y no se transfieren (cuando se dejan secar bien). La preferencia sobre un rímel u otro dependerá del maquillaje que utilice.
Today we’re going to talk about two mascaras I’ve been using for a few months. Both claim to give length and volume to the lashes.
L’oreal Bambi Eye mascara has a retail price of $10.99 and a “velvety washable formula glides on smoothly for lifted, elongated lashes, without clumps”.Maybelline the Falsies Lash Lift mascara also retails for $10.99 and “delivers a dramatic volume and long, lifted lashes.
In my experience, both mascaras give good volume and length. I find that the L’oreal Bambi Eye mascara is a bit faster to get clumpy, if too many layers applied. Maybelline the Falsies Lash Lift mascara has a more thin formula, which helps the clump-free claim. But if you let it dry between coats, you’ll get clumps and it will be difficult to apply it.

As you can see in the photo above, the left side looks more pigmented and together. As for the right side, the Maybelline mascara separated my lashes more. The length and volume seems to be the same.
I like both mascaras, they’re good and don’t transfer (after letting them dry) or flake. Preference over one or another will depend on the eye makeup I’m wearing.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi opinión sobre la paleta de sombras Revo-Pooches de I Heart Revolution. Ahora mismo está a $7.49 (en la página web de Ulta) y tiene 18 tonos. La compré luego de ver a Dani, de CoffeeBreakWithDani en YouTube, hablar maravillas de ella.
Comencemos con cosas positivas, el empaque es violeta y tiene cuatro tiernos perros (en 3D) en el frente. También tiene un espejo de buena calidad. Los tonos son hermosos, suaves, pigmentados y fácil de difuminar. Se quedan en los ojos durante todo el día sin desaparecer.
Hablando un poco más sobre la suavidad de las sombras, pienso que eso fue lo que provocó que se rompieran en tránsito. Algunas de ellas se destrozaron, pero fui capaz de presionarlas un poco. Son un poco “dusty” lo que no es tan importante para mí.

Today I’m going to share my thoughts on the Revo-Pooches eyeshadow palette from I Heart Revolution. It retails for only $7.49 (on Ulta’s website) and has 18 shades. I bought it after watching Dani, from CoffeeBreakWithDani on YouTube, rave about it.
Let’s start with positive thoughts, it has purple packaging and four cute dogs (in 3D) on the front. Also has a good quality mirror. The shades are beautiful, soft, pigmented and easy to blend. They stay on the eyes all day without creasing.
Talking more about the eyeshadow’s softness, I think that’s what caused them to break in transit. A few of the shades shattered, but I was able to kind of press them back. These shadows are quite dusty which isn’t a big deal for me.
I played with it for the past few days and have created these three looks.
Shades used: Blondie, Roll Over, Bark, and Hound Dawg.Shades used: Roll Over, Bark, Bruno, and Puppy Love.Shades used: Boop, Biscuit, and Floof.
Overall, I love this palette. Even though it has some broken eyeshadows, the pigmentation and blendability makes up for it.
